Bucknell Backcourt Club Luncheon Slated for Thursday

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The first official Backcourt Club Luncheon of 2006-07 will take place this Thursday at 11:45 a.m. at the Lewisburg Hotel. Bucknell head men's basketball coach Pat Flannery will talk about the first month of the season and look ahead to games coming up. The luncheon is open to the public, with the $10 admission including a hot buffet lunch.
Flannery and the Bison are coming off an outstanding showing on Sunday, when they defeated George Mason 60-57 at the BB&T Classic in Washington, D.C. Bucknell is 3-5 against a very difficult schedule thus far.
After playing four games in eight days, including back-to-back games against Northern Iowa and George Mason over the weekend, the Bison are now in a 13-day break for final exams. They resume play on Dec. 16 at Cornell at 3:30 p.m.
