Matt Forys and Wallace Campbell Receive Accolades from Patriot League

LEWISBURG, Pa - On Monday, senior Matt Forys (Howell, N.J./Howell) and junior Wallace Campbell (Montgomery, Ala./Montgomery Academy) were selected to the 2006 All-Patriot League Cross Country Team. Forys was tabbed first team, while Campbell was named to the second team.

Forys, who finished 24th in the 2005 Patriot League championships, crossed the line in third place overall with a time of 25 minutes, 36 seconds. Campbell posted a ninth-place finish, crossing the line with at time of 26:26. Forys and Campbell became the first Bison runners since 2003 to be name to the All-League teams.

The Bucknell men's cross country team will compete in the 2006 Mid-Atlantic Regional on Nov. 11, on the campus of Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, Pa., beginning at 12:15. The Bison will look to improve on their 15th-place finish a season ago.
