LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Following Saturday afternoon's home game against Northern Iowa, the Bucknell men's basketball team will make a quick turnaround and play reigning Final Four participant George Mason on Sunday at the BB&T Classic, presented by Juniper Networks, at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.
The Bison and Patriots will tip at 1:30 p.m. in the first game of a tripleheader that also features George Washington against Virginia Tech and Maryland against Notre Dame.
All three games will be televised live on Comcast SportsNet, available on most cable systems throughout the Mid-Atlantic as well as to sports package subscribers on DirecTV (Ch. 629) and Dish Network (Ch. 424). Steve Buckhantz and John Feinstein will call the action.
Limited seating is still available via Ticketmaster at 202-397-SEAT or ticketmaster.com.
The BB&T Classic, now in its 12th year, benefits the Children's Charities Foundation, which has raised nearly $6 million for disadvantaged youths in the greater D.C. area.
The Bison have won two straight contests, including a come-from-behind 60-56 victory at Saint Francis (Pa.) on Wednesday, and now stand at 2-4 on the season.
