Bucknell to Host "Tools of a Champion" Water Polo Clinic

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell's Kinney Natatorium, which is hosting the 2005 NCAA Men's Water Polo Championship, will also serve as the host venue for the "Tools of a Champion" water polo clinic Saturday, Dec. 3, following the conclusion of the second semifinal game. The three-hour clinic will feature Olympians Bradley Schumacher, Wolf Wigo and Genai Kerr providing in-water instruction.
The clinic, which costs $65, is open to boys and girls of all ages registered with U.S. Water Polo. Taught by Olympians, the clinic will focus on improving every athlete's game with a focus on fundamental skills necessary to reach the highest level of play.
Schumacher, Wigo and Kerr are all Olympic veterans. Schumacher was a two-time Olympic gold medalist and a Federation Internationale de Natation (FINA) Cup champion. Wigo, a three-time Olympian and captain of the United States Olympic Team, was also a FINA Cup champion and led Stanford to two NCAA titles. Kerr, who was the goalie on the 2004 U.S. Olympic Team, was an All-American at UC-Irvine.
