Bucknell Places Most in Patriot League on Women's Rowing Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell women's rowing team placed 18 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, it was announced by the league office Thursday. The 18 Honor Roll members were the most by any of the league's women's rowing teams.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter.
Highlighting the selections for the Bison were sophomore Laura Roberts and junior Alexis Will who each posted perfect 4.0 grade-point averages during the spring semester. Roberts is a mechanical engineering major, while Will is majoring in environmental studies. Just five women's rowing student-athletes from across the Patriot League achieved 4.0 grade-point averages.
Elsewhere around the league, Holy Cross had 15 Honor Roll members, Navy 13, Colgate 12 and Lehigh five. Sixty-three members of the league's women's rowing teams were named to the Honor Roll.
Bucknell paced the Patriot League with 199 total student-athletes earning positions on the Honor Roll.
