Bucknell's John Clark Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. - John Clark, a sophomore forward on the Bucknell men's basketball team, was named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, announced by the league office Wednesday.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter.
The Tulsa, Okla., native posted a 3.58 grade-point average during the 2005 spring semester while majoring in philosophy. On the court he averaged 2.5 points and 1.8 rebounds per game while starting 13 games last season.
Bucknell paced the Patriot League with 199 total student-athletes earning positions on the Honor Roll.
Clark and the Bison posted a 64-63 victory over third-seeded Kansas in the first round of the 2005 NCAA Tournament. The victory was the first in Bucknell and Patriot League history in the sport of men's basketball.
