LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell basketball fans who were not able to attend Tuesday night's Villanova game will have a chance to see the telecast of the contest when it re-airs on ESPNU on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 6 p.m. EST.
The game was shown live on ESPN360, the digital broadband arm of ESPN, and ESPN News featured live cut-ins throughout the evening.
Fourth-ranked Villanova defeated Bucknell 79-60, but the electric atmosphere in jam-packed Sojka Pavilion made it a night to remember. The standing-room-only crowd of 4,433 was the largest ever to see a basketball game at Bucknell.
ESPNU is available on many cable systems across the nation, in addition to DirecTV and Dish Network home satellite systems.
The Bison, now 5-1 on the season, are currently in an 11-day break for final exams. They will host Cornell on Dec. 17 at 1 p.m., with home games against Haverford (Dec. 19) and St. Joseph's (Dec. 21) to follow.
Bucknell will play on ESPN again on Jan. 2 against top-ranked Duke at 4:30 p.m.
