Harlem Globetrotters to Play at Bucknell's Sojka Pavilion

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The World Famous Harlem Globetrotters will make their first-ever appearance at Bucknell's Sojka Pavilion Friday, Feb. 10. Tip-off for the game against the New York Nationals is 7 p.m. The game is part of the Globetrotters' "Unstoppable" North American Tour.
Tickets for the game start at $18 and are available at the Bucknell Campus Box Office, located at the Weis Center, or via the web at www.bucknell.edu/boxoffice, or by calling 570-577-1000.
Celebrating their 80th anniversary and living up to their billing as "Ambassadors of Goodwill," the Globetrotters will feature many of their timeless traditions, including amazing ball-handling and comedy routines. Their exciting mascot, Globie, will entertain the crowd with its antics, while there will be a meet and greet session following the game to allow fans a chance to get autographs and interact with their favorite Globetrotter.
Since their inception in 1927, the Harlem Globetrotters have traveled to 117 nations, played before 123 million fans, won championships and built bridges between people and communities around the world. In 2002, the organization was only the fifth team to be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. They have also been recognized as the most popular sports team by the 1999, 2000 and 2002 Q Ratings.
