LEWISBURG, Pa. - Sunday's men's water polo game between Bucknell and Johns Hopkins has been changed to 2 p.m. The game, which will be played at the Newton H. White Athletic Center on the Blue Jays' Baltimore, Md., campus was originally scheduled for 4 p.m.
The Bison, who are ranked 17th nationally, fell to No. 12 Princeton 8-4 Tuesday night. They are 8-13 overall and are 4-2 in CWPA Southern Division play. Johns Hopkins enters the weekend with a 14-5 record. The Blue Jays are ranked No. 1 in the latest Division III poll, and they are 20th in the national top 20 poll, which spans all divisions. Bucknell defeated Johns Hopkins 7-5 at Kinney Natatorium earlier this year in the only meeting between the two squads this season.
The Bison have a busy weekend of play ahead of them as they wrap up regular-season play. Bucknell plays four games with the contest against Johns Hopkins concluding both the weekend and the regular season. The Bison will play their four weekend games in three separate locations. They will face Navy Friday at 8 p.m. in Annapolis, Md. The following day the Bison will take on Salem International at 5:30 p.m., also in Annapolis. Prior to the game against the Blue Jays on Sunday, Bucknell will battle George Washington in Washington, D.C., at 10 a.m. This final weekend of play will determine the seedings for the Southern Division Championships, which will take place in Annapolis Oct. 28-30.
