LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The tip-off time of the Bucknell-American men's basketball game scheduled for Feb. 11 at Sojka Pavilion has been moved up two hours, to 5 p.m. Eastern.
The game will be televised by College Sports Television as part of the Patriot League TV package. The original start time of 7 p.m. conflicted with other previously scheduled CSTV programming and would have limited the basketball game to tape-delay status. With a 5 p.m. tip, the game will now be aired live to more than 20 million homes (DirecTV subscribers on Channel 610, as well as select Comcast, Time Warner and Adelphia cable systems).
Bucknell is the Patriot League's hottest team, having won seven straight games. The last four have come against Niagara, St. Joseph's, then-seventh-ranked Pittsburgh and PL rival Holy Cross.
The Bison put that winning streak on the line on Wednesday night at Colgate at 7 p.m.
