The Junior Bison Club couldn't have asked for better weather at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium. It was 80 degrees and sunny on the artificial turf, but that didn't stop any of the Junior Bison from having a grand ole time running circles around the Bucknell football players. Over 150 kids showed up for this free community event. Over 60 of those in attendance were Junior Bison Club members! Everyone got to run the 20-yard dash, throw a football for accuracy, run a football obstacle course, tour the Bucknell football locker room, call plays up in the Bison press box, and have a ball with many, many other activities in the stadium.
Stay tuned to the athletics web site for 2006-2007 Junior Bison Club sign-up information. Current members will receive a mailing for registration in August, and new members can join by completing the application on the web site or by signing up at either of the first two home football.
