2003 Bison Live! Debuts Thursday Night at Lewisburg Hotel

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The third season of the interactive radio program Bison Live! kicks off on Thursday evening, Aug. 28, at its new home, The Lewisburg Hotel. Head football coach Tim Landis will appear weekly throughout the fall, and he will be joined by another Bison head coach each week. Men's soccer coach Brendan Nash, who opens his season Saturday at home against Hartwick, will appear on Thursday.
Once again in 2003, "The Voice of the Bison" Doug Birdsong and veteran color analyst George Burman will serve as the hosts of Bison Live! The program is aired on the flagship station of the Bison Sports Network -- WMLP 1380-AM -- before a live audience at the Lewisburg Hotel. Fans in attendance are invited to ask questions on the air and can win Bucknell Athletics-related prizes.
Fans outside the WMLP listening range can still tune in toBison Live! via the official web site of Bucknell Athletics -- www.BucknellBison.com. Throughout the week internet listeners may e-mail questions to be read live on the show. Questions may be sent to terry@bucknell.edu and should arrive by 6 p.m. on Thursdays.
The Lewisburg Hotel is located at Second and Market Streets in downtown Lewisburg.
