Sussman repeated as Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year and a first-team all-conference selection, and he was a three-time player of the week pick. He recently played in the North-South all-star game.

His selection gives Bucknell 93 Scholar-Athletes of the Year since the Patriot League's inception in 1990-91, more than double the next-highest total.
