Bucknell Men's Basketball Golf Outing Slated for May 16

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Slots are still available for the Bucknell Men's Basketball Golf Outing, slated for Friday, May 16 at the Bucknell University Golf Club. Many outstanding gifts and prizes will be handed out to golfers of all age and skill level. Both morning (8:30 a.m.) and afternoon (1:30 p.m.) shotgun starts are available.
The $85 entry fee ($75 for BUGC members) includes green fees, cart, food and beverage, and special Bucknell Basketball gifts.
While a few openings remain, head coach Pat Flannery has assembled an outstanding field for the annual spring outing, which is being held at Bucknell's course for the first time. Legendary Mount St. Mary's coach Jim Phelan will make an appearance at the tournament, as will several prominent Bucknell alumni, including J.R. Holden, who is currently playing professionally in Russia's elite league.
The event annually attracts a mix of friends and family of Bison Basketball, members of the Bucknell staff and faculty, local merchants and alumni. This year there will be a special silent auction, with Bison memorabilia up for bid.
