Bucknell's Kevin Miller Named Bull Run Inn Athlete of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell's junior pitcher, Kevin Miller (Rochester, N.Y./Greece Olympia) was voted Bull Run Inn Bison Athlete of the Week on Monday, March 17. Miller assisted the Bison during a 4-3 spring break training trip in Bradenton, Fla.
Miller pitched a full nine innings to shutout Harvard in a 4-0 game and receive his first win on the mound. The junior allowed six hits, walked two and struck out eight. Miller holds a 1.32 earned runs average after pitching 4.2 innings against Vermont. He gave up six hits, two earned runs and one unearned run and struck out two. The Bison fell to Vermont, 8-5, in the last game in Bradenton, Fla.
The Bison will play in Philadelphia, Pa. at Temple on Tuesday, Mar. 18. The single game will begin at 3 p.m. Bucknell will face a doubleheader against Bloomsburg on Saturday, Mar. 22 and a doubleheader against Lock Haven on Sunday, Mar. 23. Both series will begin at noon and will be played in Lewisburg, Pa.
