First Bison Baseball Weekend Cancelled

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Due to a snow covered field, the Bucknell baseball team will not be traveling to Baltimore, Md., to play Coppin State on Feb. 15-16. The doubleheader on Saturday and the single game on Sunday have both been cancelled due to weather.
The Bison were scheduled to start the 2003 season this weekend against the Eagles. Bucknell now looks forward to heading onto the field next weekend in Richmond, Va., against Virginia Commonwealth. The Orange and Blue are scheduled to play a three-game series with the Rams starting on Friday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. The Bison will continue play on Saturday, Feb. 22 and Sunday, Feb. 23, both games have a start time of 1 p.m
