Bucknell Men's Water Polo Drops Close One to 15th-ranked Brigham Young-Hawaii

CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Bison men's water polo team overcame a four-goal deficit to challenge 15th-ranked Brigham Young-Hawaii in what ended up being a 12-10 loss at the Claremont Convergence on Saturday, October 11.
BYU-Hawaii jumped out to a 5-2 lead after one quarter, and built that to an 8-4 advantage at halftime. The Orange and Blue came charging back with a 4-1 third quarter to cut it to a 9-8 contest. BYU-Hawaii sealed the game with a 3-2 fourth quarter for the 12-10 win.
Bradley Roslyn was Bucknell's top-scorer in the contest, netting three goals. Elliot Benoist and Jay Danforth added two goals each, while Benoist had two assists. Also scoring were Lars Weborg, Aaron Platshon, Nick Ferring and Brad Unroe.
Trevor Mullins was in the cage for Bucknell, recording three saves.
The Orange and Blue fall to 3-14 overall. The Bison are off until Monday, October 13, when they take on California Baptist in a single game at 6:00 p.m. ET.
