Costello Named Bull Run Inn Bison Athlete Of The Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Senior Greg Costello (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon), a member of the men's cross country team, has been named the Bull Run Inn Bison Athlete of the week ending Sept. 16.
Costello was also named Patriot League Runner of the Week on Tuesday, Sept. 17. Costello guided the Bison to a first place team finish at the Army Invitational this past weekend.
In his first race during the 2002 campaign, Costello completed the 8K course crossing the line first with a time of 26:18.00. He finished the race seven seconds in front of teammate Bryan Johnston, who placed second in the race.
Bucknell will return to action in two weeks on Friday, Sept. 27, when they travel to the Great American Cross Country Classic.
