Bucknell Women's Golf Concludes Spring Season at James Madison

HARRISONBURG, Va. - Led by Jess Hetrich's 166, Bucknell placed 13th among 17 schools with a team score of 686 Sunday afternoon at the Lady Dukes Invitational, hosted by James Madison University, in the Bison's final competition of the spring season.
Hetrich shot Bucknell's lowest round on the second and final day of the tournament. After opening with an 85 yesterday, Hetrich closed out the final 18 holes with an 81 to finish in a tie for 36th with a 166.
Senior Hilary Mainka was the Bison's next lowest finisher. Mainka recorded an 86 in her final collegiate round, and tied for 42nd at 167.
Freshmen Jaime Hays and Caitlin Sullivan rounded out Bucknell's team scoring. Hays registered a 169 to tie for 53rd after shooting 86 on day two. Sullivan tied for 85th with at 184 after a 95 this afternoon.
Penn State won the team title with a score of 611, and the Nittany Lions' Katie Futcher won the individual title with a four-over par 148.
