Bucknell dropped its fifth straight decision with a 19-3 Homecoming Day loss to Lafayette ... the Bison scored their fewest points in a game since week two of the 1996 season (a 47-0 loss to William & Mary), and their fewest in a Patriot League game since Oct. 31, 1992 (21-0 loss to Fordham) ... the Bison outgained Lafayette 282-280 but were hampered by three turnovers and six penalties ... Chris Lundberg's 20-yard field goal on the first play of the second quarter accounted for all of Bucknell's points ... sophomore WR Daris Wilson lined up at quarterback on numerous occasions and led Bucknell in rushing with 49 yards on nine carries ... Bucknell rushed for 166 yards, their second-most of the season, with four players gaining at least 33 yards ... freshman RB Antwan Kennedy gained 42 yards on seven carries, including a career-long 35-yard run just before halftime ... freshman RB Blamah Sarnor carried seven times for 37 yards and sophomore RB Raphael Darrington ran for 33 yards on nine totes ... sophomore QB Cole Ciesnolevicz made his third straight start and completed 9 of 18 passes for 91 yards ... senior WR Jim Horan led all players with six catches for 75 yards ... he now has 163 career receptions, just 10 shy of Tom Mitchell's all-time Bucknell record ... senior QB Todd Wenrich saw limited action but did complete 5 of 7 passes for 25 yards ... the five completions moved him past Rob Glus into sixth place on Bucknell's career list with 310 ... freshman WR Dante Ross debuted as a punt returner and nearly broke one for a touchdown ... his 23-yard return was the longest of the year for the Bison ... Bucknell blocked its eighth kick of the year when senior P/OLB Billy Windle deflected a PAT attempt in the second quarter ... Bucknell saw its string of 14 straight red zone conversions come to an end when Lundberg missed a 29-yard field goal in the third quarter.
