Bison Down Midshipmen In 3-1 Decision

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - In Patriot League play, Bucknell volleyball captured a 3-1 victory over Navy, on Friday evening. The Bison improved their record to 13-10 overall and are 7-3 in the League.
In the first game of the evening, the Bison defeated the Midshipmen, 30-23. Bucknell returned to the court to hit .333 and win the second game, 30-26. After the brief intermission, Navy reversed plays and secured a 30-26 win over the Bison. The Orange and Blue came back in the fourth face-off to hit .361 and clinch the match, with a 30-23 victory.
Breean Trapasso marked 47 assists for the Bison. Jackie Leahy tallied a team-high 16 kills for the evening, while Brandi Trapasso and Melanie Ghiz marked 13 each. Brandi Trapasso recorded a team-high 25 digs for the Orange and Blue. Carolyn Dougherty (15), Breean Trapasso (12), Chelsea Robertson (11) and Jennifer Wrigley (10) also marked double digits in the dig column.
The Bison will face first-place American University on Saturday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m.
