Bucknell Volleyball Starts The Weekend Off With A 3-0 Victory Over The Leopards

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell Volleyball team improved their record to 12-9 with a 3-0 victory over Patriot League opponent Lafayette. The Bison also enhanced their League record to 6-2.
Bucknell came to the court in hopes to start another winning streak after losing to Le Moyne, Sunday afternoon. In game one, the Bison captured a 30-20 victory over the Leopards. The Orange and Blue returned to the court for the second match-up to complete the game with a 30-18 score. During the third game of the match the Bison snatched a lead after the 18-18 tie to take the lead and win the final game, 30-24.
Brandi Trapasso tallied 11 kills and team-high 13 digs, while Jennifer Wrigley marked team-high 12 kills. Breean Trapasso completed the three-game match with 31 assists for the Bison.
Bucknell will host Patriot League opponent Lehigh on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 7:00 p.m. in Davis Gymnasium.
