LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell University honored local police officers, firefighters and EMT personnel as part of Community Service Night during Wednesday's basketball doubleheader against Lafayette.
At halftime of Bucknell's 65-64 men's basketball victory over Lafayette, emergency personnel from the Susquehanna Valley were recognized.
In attendance to receive certificates were Brett Meckley from Milton Fire Dept., Mark Carollo from the William Cameron Engine Co., Mike Purcell from the Student Emergency Response Volunteers (SERV), and Russ Sawyer from Mifflinburg Community Ambulance Association.
