MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Bucknell University women's golf team completed day two of the Unlimited Potential/Bay Tree Classic today, and after 36 rounds the Bison are in 22nd place in the 31-team field with a 663-stroke mark. Bucknell shot a 337 today after firing a 326 in day one yesterday.
Junior Jess Hetrich was the Bison with the hot stroke this afternoon. Hetrich, Bucknell's low scorer for the day, shot a career-best 78, which ranks as a tie for the second-best 18-hole individual round all-time at Bucknell. Freshman Jaime Hays was the Bison's next lowest scorer, shooting in 85 in just her third collegiate round. Senior Hilary Mainka and juniors Molly Campbell and Amy Jones also competed and finished day two with an 87-stroke score.
The Bison conclude tournament play tomorrow.
