LEWISBURG, Pa. - The latest piece in a rapidly growing cache of Bucknell Athletics programming is "Bison Live," a one-hour live radio show that will debut this Thursday evening at the Bull Run Inn restaurant in Lewisburg.
The show will be hosted by Doug Birdsong, "The Voice of the Bison," and will air from 7-8 p.m. on WMLP-AM (1380) as well as on the Internet at www.BucknellBison.com.
Bucknell head football coach Tom Gadd will appear on the show each week, as well as select Bison players. Gadd and Birdsong will discuss the previous week's game, preview the upcoming opponent and bring fans up to speed on all the happenings within the football program.
In addition, one of the assistant football coaches will be featured each week for a strategy session, and a head coach from one of Bucknell's other fall sports will also appear. Defensive coordinator Dave Kotulski and new men's and women's cross country coach Kevin Donner will be present for the inaugural show.
"Bison Live" will also be interactive for fans, as questions will be taken both from the live audience and from the Internet. Prizes will also be given away to those in attendence.
The Bull Run Inn is located at 605 Market Street in downtown Lewisburg.
