Women's Golf Sits In Fourth Place After First Day of Competition In Bucknell Spring Invitational

Lewisburg, Pa. - The Bucknell women's golf team currently is in fourth place after one day of competition in the Bucknell Invitational. Pacing the field through the first 18-holes si Brown University with a team total of 317 and low medalist Elizabeth Carpenter who shot an even par, 72.
Leading the way for the Bison are sophomores Jess Hetrich (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) and Molly Campbell (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater). Campbell and Hetrich each shot solid scores of 81 on the first day of competition on their home course. Right behind is junior Hilary Mainka (Jenkintown, Pa./Germantown Academy) with an 82.
The Orange and Blue are currently 12 strokes behind the leaders and have Central Connecticut and Monmouth between them and first place. Central Connecticut is in second place with a team score of 323 and Monmouth is in third after shooting a 324.
