Orange and Blue Women's Water Polo Team Comes Away With 14-5 Win at League Championships

GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Bucknell women's water polo team got back to its winning ways, defeating Grove City, 14-5, at the Southern Division Championships, being held at Grove City on Friday and Saturday, April 6-7.
Junior Brooke Rea (Canandaigua, N.Y./Los Altos) led the Bison attack with four goals, while senior Paige Cull (Bay City, Mich./John Glenn) added four assists to go with one goal, three steals and one ejection drawn. Freshman Kelly Hofstetter (Scotts Valley, Calif./Harbor) played a solid game for BU, recording a game-high six steals, while also scoring one goal. Sophomore Lindsay Chesterfield (Kingston, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) had a solid game in goal, recording 11 saves while allowing only five goals.
Bucknell improves to 16-13 overall and will face Gannon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7.
