Women's Tennis Team Drops 5-2 Decision at Lehigh

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Bucknell women's tennis team fell to Lehigh, 5-2, in Patriot League action on Saturday, March 31. Lehigh captured the doubles point, winning two of three matches, and took four of six singles matches on the way to the win.
In doubles action, the Bison duo of senior Beth Wurzburg (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier) and junior Kristin Inglis (Huntington, N.Y./Saint Anthony) were the lone winners, picking up an 8-5 win at the second flight.
B. Wurzburg was also one of two Bucknell winners in singles action, defeating Meg Bramble, 6-3, 7-6 (7-1), at the sixth flight. Also winning for the Bison in singles action was sophomore Laura Maisel (Princeton, N.J./Hun School), picking up a 7-6 (7-1), 6-1 victory at the fifth flight.
Bucknell falls to 4-2 overall on the year and 0-1 in Patriot League action. The Bison host Towson for a non-conference match on Tuesday, April 3, at 4:00 p.m.
