Bucknell Bounces Lehigh In Overtime

LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) - Brian Werner had 23 points and Bryan Bailey had 21 points to lead Bucknell to an 82-78 overtime victory over Lehigh on Wednesday night.
The overtime period began with the score tied at 73. Werner's jumper put Bucknell (12-14, 4-8 Patriot) ahead 75-73, but a layup by Lehigh's Ed Lacayo less than a minute later tied it again at 75. Bailey brought Bucknell back into the lead for good with another layup shortly after.
Free throws by Matt Crawford and Lacayo as well as an Alan Goff layup added to the score for Lehigh (12-14, 6-5) in the last minutes of the game, but the effort proved futile.
Matt Logie led the scoring for Bucknell with 25 points, making 6-of-10 3-point attempts and scoring well ahead of any of his teammates. Alan Goff was Lehigh's No. 2 scorer with 13.
