Marshall Named as ECAC Runner of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell senior cross country runner Becki Marshall (Montgomery, N.Y./Pine Bush Central) has been selected as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Runner of the Week for the second time this season, the conference announced this afternoon.
Marshall dominated the 53-runner field at the Lock Haven Invitational last Saturday. The senior standout won the 6,000 meter race in 22:17, and she crossed the finish line over a minute faster than her nearest competitor. Her performance helped the Bison beat out four other teams for the team title. Marshall's victory was her second in as many races this season.
The Bison, who have won the Patriot League title in each of the last three seasons, will continue their season on Saturday, when they travel to Lehigh University for the Paul Short Memorial.
