Crew Teams Compete at Head of Schuylkill Regatta

PHILADELPHIA - The Bucknell University men's and women's crew teams competed in their second event of the 2001-02 season this afternoon at the Thomas Eakins Head of the Schuylkill Regatta. One of the premier fall regattas in the nation, the Head of the Schuylkill attracts rowers from all over North America.
The men's double boat of Jeffrey Dasch and Michael Brooks-Williams turned in the highest finish on the afternoon for the Bison. Dasch and Brooks-Williams took ninth out of 13 boats in 17:15.
The following are the results from the remainder of Bucknell's competitors.
Men's Varsity Eight: 24th out of 41, 15:04.
Men's Novice Eight: 30th out of 46, 15:46.
Women's Novice Eight: 29th out of 48, 18:09.
Women's Novice Eight "B": 30th out of 48, 18:11.
Women's Novice Eight "C": 31st out of 48, 18:46.
