PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Bucknell men's water polo team earned seventh place by defeating Johns Hopkins, 11-4, on Sunday, November 19, at the Eastern Championships, being held at Brown University on Saturday and Sunday, November 18-19.
Senior James Miante (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) and junior Ryan McCarty (St. Louis, Mo./St. Louis Country Day School) scored three goals each in the contest. Senior co-captain Kevin Permisohn (Silver Spring, Md./Springbrook) playing in the final game of his career, scored one goal, handed out four assists and grabbed two steals.
The Bison finish their season at 21-21 overall.
