
Water Polo Opens Up League Play At Home

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell men's water polo team
opened College Water Polo Association, Southern Division league
play with a 1-2 record.
The Bison, hosting the league games on Saturday and Sunday, September
23-24, opened Saturday with a 17-4 loss to Princeton, ranked 16th
in the latest national poll. The Orange and Blue then took on
#15 Navy, falling to the Midshipmen, 7-4, in a hard fought battle.
Bucknell finished the evening by defeating Johns Hopkins, the
14th ranked team in Division III, 14-11.
BU improves to 9-6 overall and concludes the weekend with a 10:30
a.m. game against George Washington on Sunday, September 24.
