Water Polo Defeats Salem International

Grove City, Pa. --- This evening the Bucknell men's
water polo team improved to 11-7 on the season with a 13-9 victory
over Salem International at the Grove City Invitational.
In similar fashion to past contests, junior Ryan McCarty
(St. Louis, Mo./St. Louis Country Day School) led the Bison
offense with five goals in the contest. Also contributing to
the Orange and Blue's winning ways was senior co-captain Kevin
Permisohn (Silver Springs, Md./Springbrook) with two assists,
two goals and four steals on the night.
The water polo team will have three more contests at the Grove
City Invitational tomorrow, Saturday, October 21 against Slippery
Rock at 8:30 a.m., Washington & Jefferson at 11:00 a.m. and
its final contest versus Penn State-Behrend at 6:15 p.m.
