Former Bison player Hannah Sunday, a 2016 Bucknell graduate, was named an assistant men’s and women’s water polo coach at her alma mater in January 2017. She began to work exclusively with the women's team in August 2018.
A three-time All-CWPA Southern Division First Team selection and a 2016 Honorable Mention All-America honoree, Sunday graduated as the program’s career leader in ejections drawn with nearly 100 more than second-place Valentina Rozas. She also owned three of the top four spots on the single-season ejections drawn list.
A two-year team captain, Sunday led the Bison with a career-high 69 goals in 2016. Her career total of 194 goals ranks sixth in school history.
In addition to her numerous all-conference honors, Sunday was named to the All-CWPA Championship Team three times.
This is Sunday’s second coaching position following a stint as an assistant women’s water polo coach at Saint Francis (Pa.) in fall 2016.
A Carlisle, Pennsylvania, native, Sunday graduated from Bucknell with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
