Rebekah Lloyd joined the Bucknell Athletics & Recreation staff in January of 2025 as the manager of recreation services, where she oversees Bison Rec group fitness programs, the KLARC’s front desk administration, and membership services.
A Fort Myers, Fla., native, Lloyd is a double graduate from East Carolina University, where she obtained both her BS in health fitness specialist and MS in kinesiology with a concentration in sport and exercise psychology, all while competing as a student-athlete for the ECU track and field program. During her collegiate career, Lloyd received All-Academic honors, was awarded “Most Outstanding Student” for the College of Health and Human Performance, was crowned the American Athletic Conference champion in the women’s discus throw during her senior season, and was an NCAA regional qualifier in the women's discus for three consecutive years.
With a strong health and fitness background, Lloyd gained experience in the field as a personal trainer with Youngs Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a group fitness instructor with Focused Fitness Bootcamp, a physical therapy tech with ECU Health Outpatient Rehabilitation, and a front desk administrator with Our Children’s Clinic Pediatrics. Additionally, Lloyd completed internships with Youngs Physical Therapy and East Carolina Weightlifting, as well as completing a fellowship with East Carolina University Athletics.
