Kristin Klinger joined the Bucknell Athletic Training staff in 2010-11 as an assistant athletic trainer and was promoted to associate athletic trainer in the summer of 2013. Klinger works closely with the Bison wrestling and volleyball teams.
Klinger came to Bucknell after more than two years as the head athletic trainer at Lock Haven Hospital. There, she was responsible for 32 athletics teams in the Keystone Central School District, including the varsity football team.
Klinger earned a bachelor's degree in liberal studies in 2005 from Clarion. She also received a bachelor's degree in athletic training from California University of Pennsylvania the same year. Two years later she earned a master's degree in arts in educational leadership from the University of Nevada.
Serving as an athletic trainer at the Collegiate Nationals Beach Volleyball, John Smith Oklahoma State Wrestling Camp and the Reno Volleyball Festival highlight Klinger's other professional experiences.
