Chloe Will
- Title:
- Assistant Coach
Bucknell Field Hockey head coach Kelsey Kolojejchick completed her coaching staff with the hiring of Bucknell alumna Chloe Will '20, as announced Monday. Will played from 2016-2019 with the Bison and was a local product from Dornsife, which lies across the Susquehanna River in Northampton County. Her expansive responsibilities will include overseeing all positions on the field.Â
"We are so excited to welcome back Chloe to the Bucknell Field Hockey program," said Kolojejchick. Having an alumna on the staff is such a fantastic addition and brings a unique perspective for our current student athletes and future recruits. She was a great hockey player and will help us manage all positions on the field. The future is bright and we can't wait to get started with her on board."
Will - maiden name Poltonavage - controlled the midfield for Bucknell. She played in 74 career games making 58 starts and tallied five goals and five assists. A true scholar-athlete, she notched spots on three Patriot League Academic Honor Roll lists.Â
A distinguished leader, Will served as team captain for three seasons during which the Bison twice reached double-digit wins, including an 10-8 mark in 2018 - the last time Bucknell hit the double-digit win mark.Â
"I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to return to Bucknell as an assistant field hockey coach," said Will. "It is a privilege to give back to a program that has meant so much to me, and I look forward to supporting the development and success of our student-athletes both on and off the field."
Will returns to the collegiate game after serving as a first grade teacher at Selinsgrove Area Elementary. She served as the Director of the Bison Field Hockey Club and as a volunteer assistant with the Selinsgrove field hockey teams.Â
She graduated with a BA in Early Childhood Education in 2020 from Bucknell.Â
Will resides in Dornsife with her husband Nicholas and son Boyd.Â
