Andrew Viola joined the Bucknell Men’s Crew team staff in the Fall of 2024.
Viola is a 2024 graduate of Bucknell, who returned after helping lead the team to a sixth-place team finish at ACRA’s in May 2024. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering while competing for the men’s rowing team. He spent four years rowing in the Bucknell varsity eight, and served as captain during his junior and senior years.
Following Viola’s senior year he was named to the ACRA Mid-Atlantic All Region team in 2024. He also was named to the MARC All-Conference First Team three times. Viola started his rowing career at CRI in Boston before attending Bucknell.
