2025-26 (Senior): Once again the Patriot League's top player ... repeated as Patriot League Player of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year ... fourth player in league history and second Bison (Nick Bybel) to earn multiple PL POY honors ... joined Bybel as the only Bison to garner four First Team All-Patriot League honors ... finished the season 30-7 in singles, making him the first player in team history to have two 30-win seasons, and 24-7 in doubles ... broke Bybel's career records for singles wins and combined singles/doubles wins ... in dual matches went 19-3 in singles and 15-3 in doubles ... repeated as both singles and doubles champion at the Patriot League's qualifier for the ITA Conference Masters Championship, and for the second straight year he won the doubles title with McDonald ... the duo then went on to reach the semifinals of the national tournament in San Diego, falling one win shy of a bid to the NCAA Championships ... in singles beat reigning Big East Player of the Year Alejandro Gandini 6-3, 7-6 in the Round of 32 before dropping a three-setter to N.C. 2024-25 (Junior): Enjoyed one of the best seasons in Bucknell tennis history ... went 33-3 in singles, mostly in the top flight, and earned Patriot League Player of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors while captaining the Bison to their first Patriot League championship since 1991 ... went 22-1 in dual matches, including a 17-1 record at No.1, and never lost to a Patriot League foe ... jumped into the ITA Division I singles rankings for the first time, peaking at No. 84, which was the highest for a Bucknell player in at least 35 years ... also played No. 1 doubles and finished 24-12, primarily with Brendan McDonald ... only three singles losses were to Penn State's No. 1 player Loren Byers at the ITA Regionals in the fall; to Notre Dame's Sebastian Dominko in the quarterfinals of the ITA Conference Masters; and to the No. 1 ranked player in Division III, Advik Mareedu of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps ... avenged that loss to Byers with a three-set win in the Bucknell-Penn State dual match on Jan. 26 ... dominant in Patriot League play, winning all 14 of his matches against league foes, including fall tournament action ... won both the singles and doubles titles at the Patriot League qualifier for the ITA Conference Masters, then advanced to the quarterfinals in singles in Rome, Ga. ... finished one win shy of an automatic bid to the NCAA Singles Championship ... in three Patriot League Tournament matches, conceded only seven games in six sets, capped by a 6-2, 6-0 win over Navy's Herrick Legaspi at No. 1 in the final ... at the NCAA Tournament at Virginia, dropped the first set to No. 4 Rafael Jodar but had a set point in a second-set tiebreaker when the team verdict was clinched ... at No. 1 doubles, he and McDonald had a 5-2 lead over the No. 23 tandem of Keegan Rice and James Hopper when the doubles point was clinched ... at The Buckys year-end awards show, captured the Bison Club Award as the 2024-25 "Player of the Year" ... also received the Charles F. 2023-24 (Sophomore): Solidified his status as one of the Patriot League's premier players with a terrific sophomore season ... earned First Team All-Patriot League and Academic All-Patriot League Team honors ... also named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team ... played in the top singles flight all season and finished 27-6, including an 18-5 mark in dual matches ... including tournament play, went 10-1 against Patriot League competition, with the only loss a three-setter to PL Player of the Year Corey Craig of Boston University ... the 27 singles wins were third-most in a season in Bucknell history ... lost in straight sets only three times all season ... finished the season on a seven-match winning streak, including straight-set verdicts over Colgate and Navy in the Patriot League Tournament ... defeated Navy's Sasha Panyan, the 2023 Patriot League Player of the Year, twice ... also posted a team-high 27 doubles victories (27-9), which was tied for the fourth-highest single-season total in team annals ...
