Dear Bucknell Women’s Water Polo Community,
Water polo has been a huge part of my life from age 14 to now. I had worked hard to achieve my dream of becoming a Division I student-athlete, and Bucknell was able to provide that dream for me. Being a student-athlete at Bucknell has been one of the most rewarding experiences I could have asked for. Bucknell has allowed me to pursue my passion for engineering while dedicating myself to my sport, giving me the chance to excel both academically and athletically.
Being a part of the Bucknell women’s water polo team has been incredibly fulfilling. This program has allowed me to grow in ways I hadn’t expected. The challenges of balancing rigorous classes with training schedules have taught me discipline, time management, and resilience. I am so grateful for the supportive community of teammates, coaches, and staff who have become like family to me – motivating and inspiring me every step of the way.
Our team’s success and growth wouldn’t be possible without the generous support from alumni, families, and friends. Your contributions provide us with essential resources, from equipment to travel, allowing us to compete at our best. Knowing that we have a community cheering us on makes each game and every hard practice more meaningful.
Now, as a senior, I am focused on making this final season one to remember. My teammates and I are ready to work harder than ever to make this a successful year and to leave our mark on the program.
On behalf of my teammates, coaches, and myself, thank you for believing in us and investing in our future. Your support has made all the difference and we are deeply grateful.
