Dear Bucknell Women’s Basketball Community,
Let me begin by saying thank you for your ongoing support for my teammates and me over the past years. Through the highs of victories and lows in the agony of defeat, I have felt supported by the women’s basketball community every step of the way. Whether showing up to Sojka and cheering us on during home games or traveling to games farther away, we appreciate your willingness to be there for us. Your words of encouragement and smiling faces have meant a great deal and I thank you for that.
When I first stepped onto campus as a freshman, I could have never imagined how much this journey and Bucknell would shape me, not only as an athlete but as a person. The coaches, athletic staff and facilities, teammates, professors, and the greater community of Lewisburg fans played a huge factor in pushing me to be my best every day. The atmosphere and family support present here at Bucknell is bar none. I stand by Bucknell and all that it has to offer and am so very grateful I chose to be here.
I have had the honor to be a member of the SAAC, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, at Bucknell. Through this leadership role, I have had the opportunity to advocate for the athletes at Bucknell and support their desire to be part of a very high academic school, as well as an extremely competitive Division I sports school. As part of SAAC, I also had the privilege of organizing and helping out in community service initiatives to give back to the local community that supports us so much.
I am very excited about what lies ahead in the 2024-25 season. While we may be a young team I believe we have a lot of potential to be very successful this year. I said during my freshman campaign that I was determined to win a Patriot League Championship and that desire has not diminished. We have experienced a lot of change in the past several years and I know we have learned how to adapt to be successful.
Again, on behalf of my teammates, coaching staff and Bucknell Athletics thank you for your continued support. You are an integral part of making Bison Athletics the best it can be and none of this would be possible without you.
One Team, One Herd ~ Go Bison!
