Dear Bucknell Men's Swimming & Diving Community,
Since I began my swimming career, I have always dreamed of competing at the highest level. Thanks to Bucknell I have been blessed with the opportunity to represent the men’s swimming and diving team and to be able to call Bucknell my home. Bucknell is a prestigious institution that values both strong academics and athletics. I cannot thank this wonderful community enough for the support and experiences offered to me. Being able to represent the Bucknell community each day is a dream come true and something that I will never take for granted.
I knew Bucknell was perfect for me from the very first day of class my freshman year. I immediately noticed the awesome people, the beautiful campus, and many smiling faces. The swim team and the athletic department also reinforced that I had made the right choice in choosing Bucknell with their unwavering support, positivity, and encouragement.
As I start my senior year I have been lucky enough to be named captain of the team. I am reminded of all the incredible leaders who preceded me, both in athletics and the classroom. I hope to write a new chapter in that legacy by continuing to lead, encourage, and motivate my teammates. Bucknell has offered me the necessary skills through both my academic and athletic experiences to fuel me with confidence that I can succeed.
At Bucknell, I’ve had the privilege of being part of a team of driven athletes who constantly push themselves–and each other–to be their best. Being surrounded by such supportive, dedicated teammates feels like being a part of a family. I feel incredibly fortunate to share each day with these individuals, and would ask nothing more of my collegiate experience.
With another year of Bison Athletics in full swing, I am honored to share my experience with our loyal alumni, families, and friends. Every positive experience at Bucknell is a direct result of the generous donations to our program. Every dollar helps ensure my teammates and I have everything we need to compete at the highest level - from better equipment, meals, an increased travel budget, and our beloved travel training trip. We are truly grateful for every contribution.
On behalf of the entire Bucknell men’s swimming and diving team, we would like to thank you for your contributions to our program and for your continued support to help us live out our childhood dreams. Because of you, we are able to wake up each morning and represent a school that we love. Thank you for your support, it is greatly appreciated.
