Dear Bucknell Field Hockey Community,

When I reflect on my four years with Bucknell Field Hockey, it is challenging to put into words all I have been fortunate enough to experience and learn. These last four years have been the best of my life and I truly owe that to this program. Bucknell has allowed me to grow and achieve in the classroom, on the field, and in the community, which I believe makes this school so incredibly unique and special.

The culture of Bucknell Field Hockey is truly what separates this team from the rest. We strive to work together to accomplish our goals on the field, but also off the field, and in the classroom. I have never had such a strong support network outside of my immediate family at home. I have grown as a leader and made long-lasting friendships along the way.

I am currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering, and this program has fully supported me the entire time. Bucknell promotes excellence and gives you the resources and tools to achieve it. My coaches, teammates, and the entire athletic department prioritize making sure every student-athlete receives the help they need to succeed.

Your support and generosity are the reasons I was able to have four amazing seasons on the Bucknell field hockey team, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you! I am forever grateful for everything this program has given me and I hope you know the impact you have made in my college career. Although my time on the field hockey team has sadly come to an end, I am excited to watch and cheer for next year’s team as they train and prepare for another great season.

I know I speak for myself, my teammates, and my coaches when I say that it is a privilege to be a part of the Bucknell field hockey program and this amazing community. Thank you for everything, I know the team will make you proud next season!
