Dear Bucknell Men’s Basketball Community,
With the season just underway, I am very excited to write you all this letter. First, I would like to thank you all for your continuous support of the program. The growth from my freshman year to my senior year has been nothing short of tremendous. You motivate us to go out every day and give it our all every time we step on the court.
Coming into my freshman year at Bucknell, I knew that I was coming into a program that is known for winning. Although that did not happen as soon as I got here, I am grateful for the experience I gained throughout the years.
This season, we are looking to provide you all with another great year of Bucknell basketball. As we continue to shift the narrative back to its winning culture, none of this would be possible without you all constantly rooting for us and cheering us on night in and night out.
The experience of being a student-athlete at Bucknell is something that I will never take for granted. The rigorous curriculum in the classroom and the experience on the court that Bucknell provides are some of the best in the country. Our improvements in the program over the years from gear, facilities, and technology are a result of the support from our donors and we thank you all for that.
My time at Bucknell has been truly exceptional, thanks to the incredible generosity and commitment of those who support our program. With another exciting season of Bison Athletics underway, I'm proud to share my journey with our loyal alumni, families, and friends. Every contribution, large or small, is essential in ensuring that my teammates and I have the resources we need to perform at our best. Thank you for standing with us and making our success possible.
I am deeply grateful and honored to be a student-athlete at Bucknell, representing this incredible community. The opportunities I’ve had and the personal growth I’ve experienced here have truly transformed my life. On behalf of the men’s basketball program, thank you for making it all possible. Your support means the world to us.
‘Ray Bucknell!
