Dear Bucknell Baseball Community,
Reflecting on my journey with Bucknell baseball, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and pride. When I took a leap of faith as a walk-on, I hoped to win a spot among some of the most dedicated and talented athletes I’d ever played with. What I found was so much more than just a bunch of athletes, so much more than just a team — I found a family. Coach Heather has built a culture of resilience and an unbreakable brotherhood that’s carried me through every season. These teammates have become more than friends; they’re my brothers, and together, we are bound by something much bigger than any one season or game.
This year, our goal is clear: a Patriot League Championship. But reaching that goal is going to take everything we have — and more. This season, we’re driven by faith: faith in the brothers beside us, faith in our coaches, faith in the legacy of those who came before us, and faith in ourselves. This kind of faith isn’t built in a single season; it’s grown through every practice, every game, and every drop of blood, sweat, and tears that have been shed. We know that, together, we are stronger, and that bond is our foundation as we push toward a goal that’s eluded us for a decade.
The unwavering belief that 37 brothers, led by four dedicated coaches, can come together and do something remarkable is what defines us. Win or lose, this faith and brotherhood will stay with us for life. It’s what makes every moment on the field more memorable and what fuels our competitive drive.
None of this would be possible without the incredible support from our alumni, parents, and friends. Your generosity is the reason we get to go out there every day, doing what we love and competing at the highest level. Because of you, we have the facilities, the resources, and the unwavering support network that drives us. Standing together with my brothers, “Bucknell” across my chest, is a source of pride I’ll carry with me forever.
Thank you for believing in us and for being part of this journey. Together, fueled by faith, brotherhood, and tradition, we’re ready to make this season unforgettable.
