Dear Bucknell Women's Tennis Community,

Every young athlete dreams of competing in their respective sport at the highest collegiate level, and I was no exception. Representing the women’s tennis team at Bucknell has been the highest honor, and I feel fortunate to call Bucknell home. Not only is Bucknell a fantastic academic institution, but the experience and the support I have received from this community is unmatched. Having the opportunity to wake up every morning and represent Bucknell is everything my younger self dreamed about.

As I enter my senior season, I can reflect on the growth that has taken place throughout my college career. Bucknell has given me all the resources to succeed on and off the tennis court. The women’s tennis team and the entire staff and faculty here have provided me with a family support system that made my transition to college successful.

When I first stepped on campus during my junior year of high school, I knew this was a special place. When I walk around campus, I can see friendly faces full of individuals who want the best for one another. The athletic department and the women’s tennis team, in particular, created this shared positive experience.

I was fortunate enough to be named co-captain my junior year, and that role showed me the importance of teamwork and creating a positive environment. Being a captain is not a position I take lightly, but the resources and skills I gained through my academic and athletic experiences make this responsibility feel like a privilege.

The program has given me a group of young women who push each other to be the best version of themselves. Being surrounded by constant unconditional love and support has shown me what community truly looks like.

Words cannot express how much this program and the entire Bucknell Women's Tennis community mean to me.

With another year of Bison Athletics in full swing, I am honored to share my experience with our loyal alumni, families, and friends. My positive experience at Bucknell has been a direct result of those who support the program. Every dollar helps ensure that my teammates and I have everything we need to compete at the highest level - from equipment, to meals, to an increased travel budget.

When people ask me where I go to college, I cannot help but have the biggest smile because I am so proud to be a student-athlete at Bucknell. If not for this opportunity, I cannot imagine where I would be today. On behalf of my coaches, teammates, and Bison Athletics, I would like to thank you for your support because none of this would be possible without you.
