Dear Bucknell Men’s Basketball Community,
We have been practicing for a few weeks now and I am excited to write to you all today. My teammates and I have been working tirelessly throughout the summer and fall so far with Coach Griffin and the new staff to shift the identity of our program.
When I arrived in Lewisburg last summer, I felt embraced by my teammates, the Bucknell administration, and the Bucknell community. I am grateful to be a part of this community and program, representing the Bison on and off the court.
As a kid, you dream of being a part of a program where the fans are as passionate as they are in Lewisburg. We are motivated by the passion and support of our loyal alumni, donors, and fans. You are the reason why we play with pride and passion every time we step on the court.
When I committed to Bucknell, I knew the caliber of the institution I would be attending. However, after my first year both the school and athletic department exceeded my lofty expectations. Bucknell has not only provided an exceptional educational experience but has fostered an environment where student-athletes are able to thrive both athletically and academically.
The dual experience that Bucknell is able to provide, which is becoming increasingly rare in college athletics, is a direct result of the people who are able to contribute to the athletic department. Our basketball program has seen some impressive improvements in technology, facilities, and gear, all thanks to the generous support of our donors. These upgrades provide an environment conducive to daily improvement and ultimately playing championship-level basketball in the Patriot League come March.
My remarkable experiences at Bucknell have been made possible through the generosity and support of our program's backers. With another year of Bison Athletics in full swing, I am honored to share my experience with our loyal alumni, families, and friends. Your support, no matter the amount, plays a pivotal role in ensuring that my teammates and I have all the essential resources that allow us to compete at the highest level.
I am grateful and proud for the opportunity to be a student-athlete at Bucknell and to represent this wonderful community. The opportunities provided to me and the growth I have experienced during my time at Bucknell have been life-changing. On behalf of my coaches, teammates, and Bucknell Athletics, thank you. These amazing opportunities would not be possible without you.
