Dear Bucknell Wrestling Community,

I am honored to write to you today as our preseason continues in preparation for our opening competition at Oklahoma State on November 10. My teammates and I worked extremely hard during the summer and here in the preseason, and are chomping at the bit to get back to competitions since last year ended at the NCAA Championships in Tulsa back in March.

While looking back at last season and remembering both the highs and the lows, we as a team have gained the experience and the driving force to push us to dominate in the upcoming season which will culminate with the 2024 EIWA Championships being held on our very own campus. Through the tough practices and the grueling dual season, we have gained a significant amount of confidence that will surely carry on for years to come.

As I enter my senior season, I could not be more excited about the direction the wrestling program is heading and the new opportunities that come with it. Under the leadership of head coach Dan Wirnsberger, we have built a strong team chemistry with both the returning and new student-athletes.

Over the past three years, I have had the opportunity to witness how the support from all of our great donors has significantly impacted the Bucknell wrestling program.

Your ongoing commitment to our wrestling team has recently given us the opportunity to have a national schedule and purchase two new singlets to rock while we represent the Orange & Blue.

On behalf of my teammates and coaching staff, thank you so much for everything you do for Bucknell Wrestling! Although we wish we could thank you in person, please know that your generosity does not go unnoticed by the team.

Your support, no matter the amount, plays a pivotal role in ensuring that my teammates and I have all the essential resources that allow us to compete at the highest level.

It is truly an honor representing the Bison, Bucknell University, and our wrestling community who demonstrate true loyalty. Thank you for believing in me and my teammates and our coaching staff led by Coach Wirnsberger. We can’t wait to make you proud this year as investors of the wrestling program!
