Dear Bucknell Men's Lacrosse Community,
Â
At the age of three, I picked up my first lacrosse stick. Very quickly the sport of lacrosse became my passion, and my ultimate dream was to play Division I college lacrosse. A three-year-old's dream became a reality when I decided to play lacrosse at Bucknell in my junior year of high school. Aside from lacrosse, I chose Bucknell because of its rigorous academics as well as the amazing community. It has been an absolute honor to represent the University on and off the field and coming to Bucknell has been the best decision I have ever made.Â
Â
Throughout my time at Bucknell, the one thing that stands out is the relationships I have formed with my teammates and my coaches. I can proudly say that I have 45 brothers and best friends who I get to spend time with every day. My coaches have become my extended family, and they have made my college experience more than special. Through the chaos of a Division I student-athlete's day-to-day life, I am so lucky to have my teammates and coaches to help me navigate these times.Â
Â
This year our team has honed in on four core values: Energy, Relentlessness, Smart, and Selflessness. As a team, we believe that if we can uphold these four values, we will be able to accomplish anything and win a Patriot League Championship. As an upperclassman, I have learned the importance of culture and truly feel that these values will separate us from other teams around the country.Â
Â
As I begin my junior year, I can reflect on the growth I have endured throughout my college career. Bucknell has given me all the resources to allow me to succeed on and off the field. Without the support of the athletic department and faculty here on campus, my college experience would not be the same.
Â
With another year of Bison Athletics in full swing, I am honored to share my experience with our loyal alumni, families, and friends. My positive experience at Bucknell has a strong correlation to those who support our program. Your continued support allows our program to compete at the highest level possible and reach our goal of winning a Patriot League Championship.Â
Â
Every day, I am filled with pride for being a part of this program and having the opportunity to further my education at such an elite institution. Without the opportunity to play lacrosse at Bucknell, I cannot imagine where I would be today. On behalf of my teammates, coaches, and Bison Athletics, I would like to thank you for your immense amount of support because none of this would be possible without you.
Â
Go Bison!
